Designed in 1930 by Gundolph Albertus (1887 - 1970).

From 1908 to 1911 he studied silversmithing in Munich and Paris. When he came to Denmark, he worked at the Georg Jensen silversmithy and also studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, from which he graduated in 1915.
Albertus became Jensen's brother-in-law when he married Jensen's wife, Johanne's sister.

As well as supervising, he also designed jewellery, cutlery and carcasses. In 1930 he designed the popular Cactus cutlery pattern and in 1940 Bittersweet, in 1941 Mitra, which was the first stainless cutlery pattern.
